The company had reported a net profit of Rs 1,450 crore in the same period last year.
Revenues for Q4FY24 grew 15% YoY to Rs 4,944 crore.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 31% YoY to Rs 6,400 crore in Q4FY24. EBITDA margin expanded 161 basis points YoY to 12.95%.
Revenues grew 14% YoY to INR 98.67 billion and net profit grew 13% YoY to INR 11.45 billion in FY24. EBITDA margin declined 71 basis points to 23.88%. Healthcare Services (Hospitals) revenues grew 17% YoY to INR 25.63 billion in Q4FY24. EBITDA margin declined 122 basis points to 23.15%. Occupancy rate was 65% and average length of stay (ALOS) was 3.30 days in Q4FY24. Average revenue per occupied bed (ARPOB) grew 12% to INR 59,523. The company said it plans to add 2,300 beds over the next three fiscal years at an investment of INR 34 billion.
The diagnostics and retail healthcare business grew 15% YoY to Rs 3,550 crore in Q4FY24. The EBITDA margin for the business increased 178 basis points YoY to 10.06% in Q4.
Apollo HealthCo, a digital healthcare and omnichannel pharmacy platform, grew 13 per cent YoY to Rs 2,027 crore in Q4FY24.
Apollo Health’s losses narrowed to Rs 180 crore in Q4FY24 from Rs 890 crore in Q4FY23.
As of March 31, 2024, Apollo Hospitals has 7,945 active beds (excluding AHLL and managed beds) across its network, of which 2,557 are new and 1,603 are in use.
Apollo Hospitals announced that Shobana Kamineni has decided to step down from her role as Executive Vice Chairman with immediate effect. She will continue as a Non-executive Non-Independent Director on the Board of Apollo Hospitals.
Kamineni will become chairman of the board of omnichannel platform Apollo Health Ltd. Apollo Hospitals holds a 59.2% stake in the company.
“I need to focus on expanding Apollo Health’s business lines, including our omni digital healthcare platform ‘Apollo 24×7’, which requires my full-time attention,” Kamineni said in a letter to the board.
The company has declared final dividend of Rs 10 per share for FY24. The company had earlier declared interim dividend of Rs 6 per share.
