Let’s take a look at some of the companies that are catching our eye in pre-market trading. Intuit — The parent company of TurboTax fell about 6% after it issued weaker-than-expected fiscal fourth-quarter guidance. Intuit expected adjusted earnings of $1.80 to $1.85 per share, while analysts surveyed by FactSet were expecting $1.92. Ross Stores — Shares of the discount apparel retailer rose more than 7% after the better-than-expected earnings. The company posted earnings of $1.46 per share on revenue of $4.86 billion, while analysts surveyed by LSEG were expecting earnings of $1.35 per share on revenue of $4.83 billion. Workday — The enterprise management company cut its second-quarter subscription revenue guidance by more than 11% after it slightly missed analysts’ expectations. Workday expected subscription revenue of $1.895 billion, while the consensus forecast was $1.90 billion, according to StreetAccount. Operating cash flow also fell short of expectations, coming in at $372 million compared with analysts’ expectations of $397.2 million. Deckers — Shares of the footwear and apparel company rose 8% after its fourth-quarter results beat expectations by a wide margin. Deckers reported earnings of $4.95 a share on revenue of $960 million. Analysts surveyed by LSEG had expected earnings of $2.89 a share on revenue of $888 million. Nvidia — The chipmaker rose 1% before the open. The artificial intelligence darling’s shares hit an all-time high yesterday, closing above $1,000 for the first time. Guardant Health — Shares of the biotech company rose more than 13% after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration determined that the benefits of its colon cancer blood test, Shield, outweigh the risks. — Reported by CNBC’s Jesse Pound.
