In the largecap segment, 15 companies witnessed significant block trades amounting to Rs 6,566 crore. Axis Bank led the way with a total block trade amount of Rs 2,089 crore. It was followed by ICICI Lombard General Insurance (Rs 814 crore), ICICI Bank (Rs 809 crore), Mahindra & Mahindra (Rs 493 crore), Maruti Suzuki (Rs 426 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs 320 crore) and Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL, Rs 300 crore).
Others include UltraTech Cement, HDFC Bank, Infosys, Titan Company, Varun Beverages, Kotak Mahindra Bank, LTI Mindtree and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in bulk deals ranging from Rs 2,900 crore to Rs 940 crore.

The midcap sector was the real hero, witnessing a notable block trade of Rs 28,240 crore in 12 companies on the screens. The leader was Indus Towers, where UK-based Vodafone PLC sold shares for Rs 17,198 crore, followed by Piramal Enterprises (Rs 2,928 crore), ZF Commercial (Rs 2,319 crore) and Gland Pharma (Rs 1,806 crore). Others included Alchem Laboratories, AU Small Finance, Shriram Finance, Gujarat Fluorochemicals, One97 Communications (Paytm), Delhivery, Poonawala Fincorp and Macrotech Developers, which traded between Rs 195 crore and Rs 94 crore.

Among small cap companies, 12 companies completed bulk deals worth Rs 5,737 crore. Aster DM Healthcare topped the list with Rs 1,576 crore, followed by PNB Housing (Rs 1,197 crore) and Kalpataru Projects (Rs 1,071 crore). Others included Sunsera Engineering, Polymedicure, Advanced Enzyme Technologies, Amber Enterprises, Quick Heal Technologies, RCF, Chambal Fertilisers, Suzlon Energy and Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, with deals worth between Rs 730 crore and Rs 199 crore.

Nuvama also reported notable large volume trades, block trades and insider transactions in 18 stocks with details of buyers and sellers, including Indus Towers where sellers included Vodafone, Prime Metals, Mobilvest and Al Amin Investments, while buyers included Bharti Airtel, SBI Mutual Fund and Gisaro Capital.
Nippon India MF, Kotak Mahindra MF and SBIMF bought shares in ZF Commercial Vehicle Group for a combined Rs 6,210 crore, while Wabco Asia Private sold shares for Rs 2,194 crore. In Paytm, Goldman Sachs SGX Private sold shares worth Rs 1,830 crore.
Stocks like Rategain Travel Technologies, Amber Enterprises, KNR Construction, Alkem Laboratories, Shriram Finance, Shaily Engineering and Le Travenues Technology (Ixigo) were also among those which witnessed prominent bulk trades, block trades and insider transactions with details of buyers and sellers.
