
The reality is that it is neither feasible nor likely for venture capital to be everywhere at the same time. Even as the industry matures and more venture capital flows into Web3 companies, it is unrealistic to expect the funds to be distributed evenly around the world. Certain hubs have already emerged as destinations for innovators, attracted by factors such as looser regulations, visa availability, cost of living, climate, and time of day. Cities such as New York, Lisbon, Dubai, Singapore, and Buenos Aires are among the places that are slowly becoming hubs. However, this maturation will take time, and the question remains: what can be done to foster innovation in the meantime?
