And based on his speech on Saturday, it looks like Trump agrees! Here’s what he said onstage: “So, as a final piece of my plan today, if I am elected, it will be the policy of my administration… to retain 100% of all Bitcoin currently held or acquired by the United States Government into the future… This will effectively be the core of the nation’s strategic Bitcoin stockpile.”
“Currently, most of the Bitcoin held by the U.S. government is [government] It was obtained through the actions of law enforcement. You know, they took that from you. Let’s take that man’s life. Let’s take his family, his home, his Bitcoin. We’re going to turn it into Bitcoin. It was taken from you, because that’s where we’re heading now. That’s where this country is heading. A fascist regime. So I’m going to take steps to turn that enormous wealth into a permanent national asset that benefits all Americans…”
